The company’s core business is the acquisition of lease, easement and fee interests, requiring expertise in all phases of a project – from title work through negotiation to damage settlement. Our primary work is in the electric and gas industries, in transmission and distribution. We also work in power generation, acquiring sites for solar and wind projects up to 500 MW in size. And we have experience in communications infrastructure, for linear projects and cell towers alike.
As a medium sized acquisition firm, the company is uniquely positioned to meet the needs of projects of all scopes. The company is large enough to staff a highly qualified right of way team for large infrastructure projects. We have been on electric projects up to 250 miles in length, at voltages up to 500 kV. We have acquired right of way for pipelines up to 36 inches in diameter and 160 miles in length. At the same time, the company is small enough to direct its full care and attention to all of its clients, from regional transmission firms down through the local municipal utility.
We operate in the Upper Midwest and draw our staff from the surrounding states. We have extensive experience acquiring land rights throughout the Midwest and are intimately familiar with the responsibilities associated with working within the guidelines of Eminent Domain.
